The garden beds are framed by drystone retaining walls, complemented by integrated timber seating. This combination creates a relaxed, inviting seating area that blends with the moody, dark-toned feature plantings. The contrast of materials and foliage brings both structure and atmosphere, providing a space to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the garden.

One side path serves as a productive garden area, featuring terraced Corten steel veggie beds, fruit trees, and a garden shed for storage. The layered design allows for maximum use of space, with lush greenery and edible plants creating a visually appealing, functional walkway. This area provides the client with a dedicated zone for gardening, blending practicality with natural beauty.

A striking off-form concrete stairway leads to the other side path, providing access through a 90-degree corner that opens up the landscape. Flanked by feature grass and bamboo, these stairs create a modern, sculptural effect while connecting the garden’s layers seamlessly.

The front entryway is designed with traditional plantings that frame the porch, setting a welcoming tone. Feature pots and climbing plants add height and dimension, softening the architectural lines. This approach gives the home a statement entrance that is both warm and inviting.
