The client wanted a striking, minimalist landscape without lawns, emphasising form and contrast. The front garden features a dramatic cactus rockery with a bold yellow feature pot, setting a striking tone from the street. The low-maintenance, sculptural plantings create a sense of place and style while requiring minimal upkeep. The combination of rocks and cactus adds a raw, modern appeal that complements the mid-century aesthetic of the home.
In keeping with the mid-century influence, the garden’s dark-toned plantings contrast beautifully with the home’s dark walls, enhancing its architectural lines.
