This Mediterranean-inspired garden in Jerrabomberra brings a touch of European charm to the Australian landscape. The client envisioned a serene, stylish pool area that would serve as the perfect setting for family gatherings and entertaining friends. Manuka Gardens fulfilled this vision with a combination of concrete and stone elements, mature olive trees, and a simple yet elegant plant palette, transforming the outdoor space into a welcoming retreat.
The pool area features a custom off-form concrete bench seat, designed for both comfort and durability. Concrete planter boxes line the space, each hosting mature olive trees that add a Mediterranean ambiance and structure to the area. The combination of concrete and greenery creates a harmonious blend of texture and function, offering a timeless look that complements the surrounding landscape.
A frameless glass pool fence encloses the pool area, providing safety while preserving an open, unobstructed view. Artisan limestone tiles and feature pots accent the Mediterranean-inspired alfresco area, enhancing its rustic elegance and warmth. The design is simple yet effective, with subtle touches that transport visitors to a Mediterranean escape, creating a setting that’s ideal for relaxed gatherings.
