About

Eliza-Jane Anderson

LANDSCAPE APPRENTICE

Inspired by her mother’s love of gardening, Eliza-Jane grew up watching beautiful outdoor spaces take shape. A former primary school teacher, she now channels her creativity and care into her role as a Landscape Construction Apprentice at Manuka Gardens, passionate about designing and building gardens where people can connect, rest, and feel renewed. Her dream outdoor space would be a country garden with mountain views, an informal cottage garden, a veggie patch, natural stone features, and an outdoor hot tub for relaxation. Eliza-Jane’s favourite project so far has been Floriade, where she loved contributing to the build and seeing the finished space celebrated with awards. When she’s not bringing gardens to life, she enjoys gardening with her kids and pets, hiking, knitting, and sharing a good yarn over a cuppa. Always keen to learn, her enthusiasm and dedication make every project she touches a joy to be part of.
