For David, landscaping grew from a love of gardens sparked by meeting his wife, guiding him from a career in commercial cooking into the world of outdoor design and construction. As a tradesperson at Manuka Gardens, he enjoys both building structures and exploring the interplay of plants and design, gradually shifting his focus to horticulture while still embracing hands-on work. David’s dream outdoor space blends provincial charm with Australian style, perfectly lit and set outside the bustle of suburbia. When he’s not crafting gardens, he enjoys travelling, discovering treasures at Dirty Jane’s, or relaxing with a glass of wine. A lover of city architecture and slow afternoons, David brings the same thoughtful attention to detail to every garden he touches.
